Description

Blush is a beautiful cherry-to-saladette tomato with golden-yellow skin and rosy red streaks. Elongated and sweet with tropical undertones, these tomatoes grow on indeterminate (vining) plants and are perfect for snacking, slicing, and gourmet dishes.

When to Plant in the UAE

• Start Indoors: Sow seeds early to mid-August to get a strong head start in warm, protected conditions.

• Outdoors (Transplant): Move seedlings outdoors in early October when the weather cools and night temperatures stay above 18 °C.

• Outdoors (Direct Sowing): You may also sow seeds directly outdoors in early October if temperatures are mild and soil is warm and fertile.

Tips for Planting

• Light & Soil: Choose a sunny location (6–8 hrs/day) with rich, well-draining soil.

• Depth & Support: Plant deeply (up to first set of leaves) and support with a stake or cage.

• Spacing: Space 45–60 cm apart, rows 90 cm apart for air circulation.

• Watering: Keep soil evenly moist; mulch helps conserve moisture and control weeds.

• Fertilization: Use a balanced fertilizer early, then switch to phosphorus-rich formula once flowering starts.

• Harvest: Ready for picking 75–90 days from transplant. Fruits should be golden with a blush and slightly soft.
