When to Plant in the UAE (Field & Indoor Sowing)

• Indoor Sowing: Start seeds 8–10 weeks before the last frost-equivalent season. Given the UAE’s warm autumn, that means sowing indoors in early to mid‑July.

• Transplant Outdoors: Once temperatures are consistently warm (above 24 °C) and seedlings reach 10–15 cm with 4 true leaves, transplant outdoors in mid‑October. Ghost peppers require temperatures between 24–32 °C for germination and thrive in 24–30 °C.

Tips for Planting & Care:

• Soil & Light: Use a light, well-draining seed-start mix indoors. Outdoors, plant in full sun in fertile soil with a pH around 6.0–6.8.

• Spacing: Provide generous space—60–90 cm (24–36 in) between plants.

• Watering: Keep soil evenly moist during germination and flowering, but avoid waterlogging.
