Description

Tlacolula Pink Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) is a rare Mexican heirloom from Tlacolula, Oaxaca. This distinctive variety produces medium-sized, pear- or bell-shaped fruits with deep ribs and pronounced pleats. The fruits ripen to a beautiful pink color, often with golden shoulders, and typically weigh around 120–350 g.

The flesh is meaty, tender and mildly sweet with a pleasant low-acid flavor. Its unusual ribbed shape makes it especially attractive when sliced, while the flavorful fruits are excellent for fresh eating, salads, slicing and stuffing. Plants are vigorous and indeterminate, producing over a long season and benefiting from strong support.

Planting & Care Tips
