Description
Sart Roloise Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) is a striking Belgian tomato variety created by Roland Boulanger in 2012 from a cross between White Wonder and Baby Blue. The large beefsteak fruits are round to slightly flattened, with a beautiful creamy yellow to orange color and distinctive indigo-purple brushstrokes across the shoulders. Fruits typically weigh around 200–350 g and may reach 500 g or more under good growing conditions.
The dense, meaty flesh has relatively few seeds and delivers a sweet, fruity and complex flavor with a pleasant balance of acidity. The plants are indeterminate, tall and vigorous, making strong support essential. Sart Roloise is an excellent choice for gardeners looking for a productive tomato with exceptional appearance and gourmet flavor.
