Product Summary

Cuostralee Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) is a large heirloom beefsteak tomato known for its impressive size, smooth bright-red fruits and rich, classic tomato flavor. The fruits are meaty, juicy and relatively low in seeds, making this variety excellent for slicing, sandwiches, salads and fresh summer dishes.

Description

Cuostralee is a popular open-pollinated heirloom tomato originating from France and is valued for producing very large, attractive fruits. The tomatoes are typically bright red, slightly flattened and can weigh around 450–900 g, with exceptional fruits growing even larger.

The flesh is dense, meaty and juicy with a balanced, rich tomato flavor. Despite its impressive size, Cuostralee is particularly appreciated as a fresh eating tomato and is excellent when sliced thickly.

The plants are indeterminate and vigorous, producing fruit over a long growing season. Because of the large fruit size, strong staking or trellising is recommended to support the plants and heavy fruit clusters.
