Developed in 1954 in South Carolina, this heirloom watermelon variety is notable for its impressive size. It yields large, oblong fruits with deep red flesh and a light green rind devoid of stripes. While the seeds are sizable, they are fewer in number compared to most varieties. Typically, each plant will produce approximately 3-4 watermelons.
