Listada de Gandia Eggplant is a beautiful Spanish heirloom variety prized for its striking lavender fruits streaked with white, tender creamy flesh, and mild, sweet flavor. The oval fruits typically grow 15–20 cm long and contain very few seeds, making them excellent for grilling, roasting, frying, stuffing, baking, and Mediterranean cuisine. This vigorous, high-yielding variety thrives in warm weather and performs exceptionally well in the UAE.

When to Plant in the UAE

• Indoors: Start seeds indoors in July.
• Outdoors: Transplant seedlings or direct sow from October through March, when temperatures are warm.
