Description
Big Jim peppers are a mild Anaheim-type chili, originally developed at New Mexico State University. They produce impressively large pods, often reaching 25–30 cm (10–12 inches) in length, with thick walls and a sweet, mild flavor—perfect for roasting or stuffing.

Watering: Keep soil evenly moist, especially during flowering, but avoid waterlogging. Big Jim peppers tolerate dry periods moderately well.
Fertilization: Apply a balanced, slow-release fertilizer at transplanting; reduce nitrogen levels as fruit develops to favor pod growth.
Support: Heavy pods may droop plant branches—provide staking or cages to support the plants.
