Ananas Noire Tomato, also known as Black Pineapple, is a striking heirloom variety prized for its large, irregularly shaped fruits with beautiful green, bronze, purple, and red coloring. The beefsteak-style tomatoes typically weigh 300–600 g and have a rich, complex flavor with a sweet, fruity taste and subtle smoky notes. The flesh is multicolored, juicy, and meaty with relatively few seeds. This vigorous, high-yielding indeterminate variety is perfect for fresh slicing, salads, sandwiches, and gourmet dishes and performs exceptionally well during the UAE’s cooler growing season.

Planting & Care Tips

• Light & Soil: Plant in full sun in fertile, well-draining soil enriched with compost.
• Depth & Germination: Sow seeds 0.5 cm deep. Germination typically occurs within 5–10 days in warm soil.
• Spacing: Space plants 60–75 cm apart, with 90–120 cm between rows.
• Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist, especially during flowering and fruit development, while avoiding waterlogged conditions.
• Feeding: Apply compost before planting and feed with a balanced tomato fertilizer every 2–3 weeks. Increase potassium during flowering and fruiting to support strong fruit development.
